I created this blog to capture this crazy yet amazing time in my life. As a professional volleyball player, I live, train, and play in some foreign country for more than half a year at a time. Hopefully you can get a sense of my world: sometimes I am visiting the wonders of the world, while other times I’m stuck in my room too tired from training to even move.
All in all, I’m an athlete that loves to compete, has big goals, big dreams, and a big heart. I want to make the most out of every moment and opportunity that is offered to me. Stay tuned.

Working Hard, Playing Harder 
Hey Jenna, it is Phil, ya know the perpetual Dawg fan from Seattle? I am REALLY enjoying your writing and photography. You have a future in journalism! As you probably know, I totally enjoy Europe, have been there 18 times, most recently to visit Dees and Kindra in Beziers. I would be over there to follow you too, but I finally got married to Kathleen, and need to focus on our life, instead of travelling at the moment. Keep up the great play and documentation. I am so happy to be reading about your adventure!
